positive attitude and esteem towards ceremony and the
industry |

all Commonwealth legislation including the
Marriage
Celebrant Code of Practice |

Assist
the client to
create a ceremony that allows full customisation to their
needs |

Be
fully trained in the area they are practicing. A National
Qualification or other suitably accepted evidence is
required |

Be
ethical in their approach with clients, marketing and use
the AAQC logo and mark appropriately |
 |
Regularly
undertake professional development and seek feedback to
demonstrate continual improvement |
 |
Supply
their clients with a detailed breakdown of their services,
costs, and these AAQC National Standards |
 |
Participate to a reasonable extent in scheduled meetings,
forums and discussion groups |
 |
Be
willing to either conduct all types of ceremonies requested,
or refer the client to the AAQC to find an alternative
celebrant |
 |
Provide
proof of AAQC membership when asked by a client |
The AAQC Board Members
are very strict on adherence to the above standards. If you

standards throughout your preparation and ceremony please
